  1. 1967

    THE EMECO

    Founded as a proprietorship to meet growing construction demand, beginning with hydraulic structures along the coastal areas of Bangladesh.

  2. 1977

    THE NOBEECO → NOBEECO LIMITED

    Renamed THE NOBEECO and incorporated as NOBEECO LIMITED under the Joint Stock Company, Government of Bangladesh—expanding execution of hydraulic works including R.C.B. sluice gates, regulators, regulator-bridges, and building works.

  3. 1997

    Electromechanical Division

    Added equipment-led project services: supply, installation, testing, balancing, and commissioning for power generation, air-conditioning, fire systems, industrial equipment, and heavy construction equipment—alongside construction and project management.

  4. 2011

    International trading

    Launched an international trading division to market engineering equipment and materials with Aktio Thailand Company Limited, a subsidiary of Aktio Corporation, Japan.

  5. 2015

    Nobeeco Heavy Equipment Limited

    Formed Aktio Bangladesh Limited as a joint venture with Aktio Corporation, Japan—today Nobeeco Heavy Equipment Limited (formerly Aktio Bangladesh Ltd.), strengthening heavy machinery and industrial equipment supply.

  6. 2025

    Nobeeco Solar

    Launched Nobeeco Solar through a strategic partnership with a leading Chinese manufacturer—one of the world’s largest suppliers of batteries, PV panels, EPC (design and installation), and battery charging station construction—to deliver world-class solutions for clients in Bangladesh and across South Asia.

Today, NOBEECO Limited serves internationally—marketing engineering equipment and materials for industrial and construction projects anywhere in the world—while continuing electromechanical and site-led execution where clients need it.
